1. What we provide
Held Co. creates custom-printed family cookbooks. Each package includes recipe layout and design, a digital proof for your review, and printed books shipped to your door. The scope of each package — number of recipes, photos, and printed copies — is as described at the time of purchase

2. Payment
Payment is collected in full at the time of purchase. All prices are in US dollars. Prices are subject to change, but the price you paid at checkout is the price that applies to your order.

3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for submitting accurate recipe content, photos, and stories through the Recipe Submission Portal. We design from what you submit. If submitted content contains errors — misspellings, incorrect measurements, wrong photos — we will correct them during the revision process, but we are not responsible for errors that were present in your submissions and not caught during proof review.

You represent that you have the right to use any photos, text, or other content you submit, and that submitting them does not violate any third-party rights.

4. Revisions
Each package includes one round of revisions after your digital proof is delivered (Heritage Starter and Family Legacy) or unlimited cover revisions (Grand Collection). A round of revisions means one consolidated list of corrections submitted at one time. Additional revision rounds are available for $35 each. Revisions cover content corrections — spelling, ingredient fixes, story edits. Layout and design structure are set at the time of design and are not subject to revision.

If we do not receive a response to your proof within 14 days of delivery, we will consider it approved and proceed to print.

5. Refunds and cancellations
Because each cookbook is custom-made for you, we do not offer refunds after work has begun. Work begins when you receive your Recipe Submission Portal link

If you need to cancel before submitting any recipes, contact us within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. After that window, cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

If your finished books arrive damaged or with a printing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue and we will arrange a reprint of affected copies at no charge.

6. Timelines
Our standard turnaround is 4–6 weeks from the date you submit your final recipe. This estimate assumes timely proof approval. Delays caused by late proof responses, extended revision rounds, or shipping carrier issues are outside our control and do not entitle you to a refund or discount.

7. Intellectual property
All design work, layouts, templates, and original creative elements produced by Held Co. remain our property. You own your family's recipes, stories, and photos. You receive the finished printed books and a PDF of your approved proof for personal use. You may not reproduce or resell Held Co.'s design work without permission.

8. Limitation of liability
Held Co.'s liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
